Taking 5ever, but I know it’ll be worth it. I wanted to finish by Easter, but that clearly didn’t happen!
The pen is actually a brownish color, not black.
I’ll show a finished ink piece, then start on watercolors and water-based acrylic.

about 30 minutes on just half of the tail. This is for a friend, so I’m being more meticulous than usual!
I’ll show the progress as I begin to paint it as well.

Finally finished my merlin gift. I don’t have a pic of the finished product… I forgot to do it and already sent it off. But if the recipient wants to post the final, then that’s up to them. :)

Wereboy concept for my Children’s Lit class.

We get to write a children’s story. She gets bitten by a toddler, contracts cooties, and then becomes a ‘wereboy’. It’s actually about the rejection of femininity at a young age from boys and girls.
But. You know. Drawing crazy proportions is always fun.

It’s pretty difficult to draw with big ass tipped sharpies, but I’m trying.

I think I liked it sketchy better. Now that it’s inked, I start to see all of the mistakes, of course. But I won’t mention them and maybe you won’t notice.

I finished one of my d&d campaigns yesterday, so I’m saying goodbye to this character for a while. He’s a Tiefling with a mohawk, of course! Red skin, gold eyes, used to be enslaved, and became a horse rancher when freed. He’s an Ardent (from his life before enslavement), so he can manipulate emotions in battle and has a high insight to see through to a person’s true feelings/emotions. He fights with a Scythe and uses Ardent powers of manipulation to “speak” to animals.
Used a reference for this pic. A guy with a really long neck, but it works a bit. hahah
